Production of "The Last Supper"

VR technology necessitates capturing 3D content in 360 degrees across all planes, employing 8 lenses. To ensure an authentically immersive experience, a specialized VR camera tailored for filming and post-production is utilized.

The operator behind this innovative endeavor was Marco Lubbers, a devout Protestant. Despite significant travel limitations amidst the pandemic, upon learning about the Gospel's adaptation into VR, he made the decision to journey from the Netherlands and contribute to the production.

To authentically recreate the ambiance of ancient times, we made the deliberate choice to construct a faithful representation of the Cenacle, meticulously adhering to historical and biblical guidelines regarding its appearance, size, and arrangement. This ambitious undertaking fell under the dedicated stewardship of set designer Piotr Zawada, whose unwavering commitment ensured the meticulous reproduction of the Cenacle, painstakingly attending to every detail of the set design.

Passover, a holiday steeped in tradition, boasts an array of customary dishes. Nadzieja Restaurant demonstrated exceptional attention to detail regarding the culinary offerings. Drawing upon existing research, they crafted several dishes reminiscent of those served at the Last Supper. The actors partook of foods and herbs authentically prepared in Jerusalem during that era.

In contemporary times, sourcing pottery akin to that utilized during Jesus' era poses a significant challenge. Addressing this, a ceramics studio based in Poznań undertook the task of crafting and firing suitable vessels. Additionally, a notable challenge involved the creation of burning lamps to illuminate indoor spaces authentically.

Costumes play a pivotal role in enhancing the authenticity of a movie. Leveraging materials and techniques reminiscent of ancient times, costume designer Kasia Zawal meticulously crafted 12 garments, drawing inspiration from available scientific publications.
